Poverello Prints

Mission Continues
Since the early 1980’s,all of the Poverello Prints greeting cards were designed by sister artists to showcase their art, style and vision through the affordable medium of greeting cards. When this line of greeting cards was begun, full-color printing was not affordable. Poverello Prints cards were designed in one and two color in a 4.25x 5.5 inch format. Eventually some designs were printed in full color, but still needed to be ordered in large quantities through a commercial printer.Â
As the years went on, computers, digital photography and other techniques became available for creating greeting cards. It became possible for our sister artists to print their designs in smaller quantities or directly off their computer, making a larger 5×7 inch format affordable. Over time, many of the original Poverello Prints designs have been discontinued. As of December 2023, production of the remaining designs were discontinued and are no longer available.
However, the mission that founded Poverello Prints is still as important to us today as it was when we first began marketing greeting cards and is being continued through the creativity of our sister artists.
